JC is a multidisciplinary abstract artist with a focus on drawing and painting. He harnesses the expressive power of mark making and bold colour to communicate complex feelings through an immediate, intuitive, and action-based process in order to manifest raw, abstracted 'emotional projections'.

Conceptually, he is driven by the nature of constructed identities and realities, exploring personal narratives that draw upon his cultural heritage, sexual identity and cultural ideology. At times utilising provocative language, JC seeks to foster moments of introspection, understanding and connection for both himself and the viewer.
